For followers of Lord Shiva, it is one of the most significant holy places in Asia. It should be noted that although non-Hindus and foreigners are not permitted inside the main temple, they are welcome to stroll about the Pashupati region, which is home to 559 different Shiva shrines and temples overall. Spend the day at Kathmandu’s Durbar Square with your guide. Learn about Kumari, the Living Goddess, who has been revered in Kathmandu for ages.
Drive to Changu Narayan, one of the oldest temples still surviving in Nepal, which was first constructed in the Licchavi era in the Bhaktapur area. Continue on to Panauti, where you may lose yourself in the surroundings of the enormous, three-tiered Indreshwar Mahadev. Both temples are superb examples of traditional Newari architecture in the pagoda style and have undergone restoration.
Today’s tour begins with a visit to the historic royal palace and square of Patan, known for its exquisite Newari architecture. As you stroll through the square, you’ll be transported back in time to a bygone era of grandeur and elegance. Be sure to keep your camera handy, as there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture the beauty of this stunning location.
After exploring the Patan square, your driver will take you to Budanilkantah temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, one of the most important Hindu deities. This temple is known for its peaceful and serene atmosphere, and visitors often report feeling a sense of calm and tranquility as they enter the temple grounds.
Get ready to indulge in a unique and spiritually fulfilling experience as you embark on a journey from Pokhara to Jomsom by plane, followed by a 4×4 drive to Muktinath Temple, a revered pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Buddhists alike. Let the cool breeze of the Himalayas fill your lungs, feel the weight of the world lift off your shoulders, and behold the awe-inspiring panoramic view from the temple’s hilltop location. This is an opportunity to escape the mundane and connect with the divine.
After a quick flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, take a moment to relax and soak in the breathtaking scenery before checking into your accommodations. Once you’re settled, head over to Phewa Lake, one of the most serene and picturesque lakes in Nepal. Rent a boat and set out on the crystal-clear waters, taking in the stunning mountain views and peaceful atmosphere. Your destination? The tranquil island of Barahi is home to the beautiful Barahi Temple, where you can take a moment to reflect and appreciate the beauty of the natural surroundings.
The fishtail mountain and the tranquility of the lovely Phewa Lake are two natural features that Pokhara enjoys. The day will start after breakfast with a trip to Sarangkot, a breathtaking vantage point from where you can see Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna. The four-wheel drive vehicle will proceed to the ancient market, Gupteshwor Cave, a revered cave that is home to a Shiva Temple, and Devi’s Fall, a waterfall that forms an underground tunnel.
The next leg of your tour is a drive back to Kathmandu. You will get the opportunity to make a stop at the Cable Car and visit the Manakamana Temple, which is perched on a hill in the Gorkha District, where you can grant your desires.
