Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu. You will get a quick tour briefing with one of our knowledgeable tour managers after refreshments at the hotel.
Early morning trek through the Shivapuri Conservation area from Shivapuri to Sundarijal after breakfast, with a packed lunch. The Shivapuri National Park is a great place to see butterflies and birds and contains a variety of plants and animals. The Himalayan black bear, leopard, jungle cat, rhesus monkey, and orchids coexist in the wild.
We will pause around 11:30 AM for lunch while enjoying the Kathmandu Valley.
2:00 PM: Take a leisurely ride back to your accommodation in a private vehicle.
We will begin our evening stroll at 5:00 PM in the ethereal gardens of Budhanilkantha, where the 5-meter-long stone figure of a sleeping Lord Vishnu commands attention.
Please remember to include a raincoat, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, snacks, a camera, and comfortable shoes.
Relax and marvel at the stunning panoramic views of the entire Himalayan range, from Annapurna and Manaslu to Everest and Numbur, at the picturesque location of Nagarkot, while enjoying a bottle of champagne or non-alcoholic beverage in the tranquil Jacuzzi or poolside bar of your hotel.
Don’t forget to see the spectacular Sunrise from your hotel room as the Sun rises in the east. Our guide will take you up after breakfast at about 7:30 AM for the 4-5 Hour trekking excursion. Explore the Newari settlements and take in the breathtaking scenery.
Highlights: Enjoy the diverse woods, quaint hamlets, and stunning mountain panoramas on a leisurely stroll with your guide. You’ll arrive in Dhulikhel, another magnificent hill town with great natural beauty, where you’ll spend the night. Spend the evening relaxing in the resort’s spa.
After hiking for around four hours from Dhulikhel, you’ll reach Namo Buddha, a sacred Buddhist site, where you can enjoy the tranquil and beautiful surroundings and spend a peaceful evening.
Continue hiking through beautiful, verdant hills and rice fields until you reach Balthali (3-4 hours). Visit Dada Gaun, a typical Tamang village that is isolated from the outside world and home to a Buddhist Community. Continue to Pada Gaun (2100m), from where you may get fantastic views of the Mahabharatan green woods and the entire Himalayan range to the north. Return to your lodge by hiking back along the Ladku River’s banks.
Walking from Balthali to Panauti while taking in the mountain air is recommended (2-3 hours). Take a trip through the village to see the wonderful temples, interesting ancient homes, especially stunning locations, and some wooden temple struts from the fourteenth century. You’ll be picked up by a private car to take you back to Kathmandu.
(7:00 AM) You will be picked up from the hotel by our tour guide after breakfast.
Highlights of the day:
(7:30 AM) A trip to Pashupatinath, the revered Hindu sanctuary located on the banks of the auspicious Bagmati River.
(10:30 AM) We’ll go to Boudhanath, the biggest stupa in the world, where you may stroll around the temple with Buddhist pilgrims and eat a traditional Tibetan lunch.
(15:00 PM)Afternoon strolls around Bhaktapur, which is home to some of the best religious architecture in the nation. The juju dau, also known as kings curd, is served here in a clay pot that was produced locally. Today, every location is a World Heritage Site, according to UNESCO.
Spend the day exploring the vibrant and bustling city of Kathmandu, or join Madam Sarala from Madame Tours for a shopping excursion. Before dinner, indulge in a traditional Nepali healing massage.
On the final day, enjoy a farewell dinner with cultural dance at a typical Nepali restaurant, courtesy of Madam Tours.
Although saying goodbye is really difficult, life must carry on, thus we choose to say: “See you next time!” Namaste. Our professional driver will pick you up from the hotel and transport you to the TIA departure gate.
