Itinerary
Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu. You will get a quick tour briefing with one of our knowledgeable tour managers after refreshments at the hotel.
One of our knowledgeable drivers will pick you up from the hotel lobby after breakfast at around 8:00 AM and transport you to Nagarkot. 28 KM separates Kathmandu from Nagarkot.
10:00 AM – Nagarkot is the best location for unobstructed sunrise and sunset views as well as the widest possible views of the panoramic Himalayan landscape. Take a brief stroll to the Nagarkot lookout tower, where, if the timing is right, you may watch the sunset. At the hotel’s poolside bar or in the jacuzzi, unwind with a bottle of champagne or non-alcoholic beverages.
Around 11:00 AM, lunch will be provided at the hotel.
Dinner is not included in this package, although the hotel where you are staying boasts one of Nagarkot’s top restaurants. Feel free to inquire about a package that does include dinner, or simply follow your own preferences.
Get up early to enjoy your hotel room’s wonderful view of the sunrise.
After breakfast, we will leave for Bhaktapur, the oldest city in Nepal, at around 9:00 AM. Bhaktapur is home to several Hindu and Buddhist temples and works of art. You’ll think you’ve travelled back in time to the Middle Ages. Visit Durbar Square and stop by a pottery shop to create your own matching tea cups. The Juju Dhau (also known as the king of yoghurts), served in a clay pot manufactured locally, is a delicious, fresh taste of paradise.
2:30 PM: Continue to Boudhanath in a private car and tour the stupa with devoted Buddhists before returning to your accommodation.
Lunch is served around 11:30 AM in one of Bhaktapur’s popular eateries.
Leave for the hotel at 6:00 PM
We will pick you up from your hotel lobby after breakfast at around 7:00 AM and transport you to the airport.
8:30 AM: Enjoy your flight to Chitwan. You will go on a safari vehicle or electric tuk tuk tour of the “Tharu Village” after checking in to your accommodation. Enjoy a traditional Nepali meal while listening to drums and watching farmers from neighboring villages perform the tharu cultural dance. There will be a typical Tharu/Nepalese dinner provided. (With B, L, and D)
To the sound of the peacocks seated in the nearby trees, our tour guide and the naturalist will pick you up from your hotel today at around 7:00 AM for a canoe trip and bird watching from the river.
Take a rainforest stroll at 8:30 AM with your knowledgeable local safari guide and naturalist. Always pay attention to your surroundings and follow your guide’s instructions. Keep in mind that you are entering an animal’s territory, so you should give them some room and respect their habitat. On the route, we’ll stop at the Elephant Bathing, where you may see or participate in an elephant bath.
Keep in mind that river water can not be healthy for your stomach.
11:30 AM: After a few hours of intense but fascinating boat rides, forest hikes, and elephant baths, we’ll eat a traditional Nepali lunch in one of the city’s busiest Thakali Restaurants.
1:00 PM: The safari in a jeep resumes after lunch at the popular tourist destination Sauraha. The one-horned rhinoceros, many species of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard, and, by any chance, the Royal Bengal tiger are among the animals you could observe.
4:00 PM: Return to your hotel for a snack.
We advise you to spend a pleasant evening by the river with your lover, watch the sunset, and, if you’re lucky, spot some wild creatures on the opposite side of the river.
Please let us know in advance if you want to combine the activities of Days 4 and 5.
Around 8:00 AM, after breakfast, take a seat back and unwind as you drive through awe-inspiring scenery to Pokhara. Together, spend the evening (spa and massage services available), and we’ll get everything set for the morning program. In Pokhara, there are many things to do. We recommend zip-lining, paragliding, or any other exhilarating sport to make your honeymoon even more unforgettable. (With B and L).
After breakfast at 8:00 AM, the activities you had planned for the day will start. (Ultralight, Zip Lining, Paragliding)
Other things we recommend doing include a 4×4 trip to Sarankot (1592 m) for the breathtaking view of Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna, the old bazaar, the lovely World Peace Pagoda built by Buddhist monks from the Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji organization, Davis Falls (Devi’s Falls/David’s Falls), a waterfall that forms an underground tunnel, and the Gupteshwor Cave, a sacred cave that houses a Shiva Temple and is You may go boating at Phewa Lake in the afternoon. (With B and L)
Around 11:30 AM, a typical Nepali lunch will be provided.
You have the day off today, so it’s just the two of you and lovely Nature. We are still close by, though, and would be delighted to show you around.
You have today to relax and take in your surroundings. Pokhara is so tranquil, we wonder why we shouldn’t stay another day. We advise you to rent a scooter and explore the city on it.
After breakfast, at 7:30 AM, your day will begin. From there, we’ll catch an early flight (8:30 AM) back to Kathmandu. The trip lasts around 1 hour.
You now have two choices:
- One free day to independently explore the city (We will set pick up and drop time and the location)
- A tour of Kathmandu’s historic Durbar Square (the King’s Palace), followed by some souvenir shopping with Madam Sarala, our resident shopping guru!
Additionally, we are able to schedule a Boudhanath nighttime visit session. Please let us know which option you prefer.
On the last day, Madam Tours will offer you a farewell dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with cultural dance.
Although saying goodbye is really difficult, life must carry on, thus we choose to say: “See you next time!” Namaste. Our professional driver will pick you up from the hotel and transport you to the TIA departure gate.
