- Flight duration: The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla typically takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on the weather conditions.
- Flight schedule: Flights from Kathmandu to Lukla operate every day, but the schedule can be affected by weather conditions.
- Flight route: The flight takes off from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and flies over the beautiful Himalayan mountain range before landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla.
- After your flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, you will be transferred to your hotel or guesthouse in Lukla. You can spend the rest of the day resting and acclimatizing to the altitude. It is important to drink plenty of water, eat high-energy foods and avoid alcohol, tobacco, or other depressant drugs to avoid altitude sickness
- After Lunch, your guide will take you for a short hike around Lukla. This will help to get your blood pumping and give you a chance to experience the local culture and scenery. The hike can last around 2-3 hours and will also help your body to adjust to the altitude gradually.
- Helicopter flight from Lukla to Kalapatthar: The flight takes about 30 minutes and provides a bird’s eye view of some of the most spectacular mountain ranges in the world, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Ama Dablam, and more.
- Helicopter will stop for 10-15 mins for photography and then continue towards the Everest base camp. (534 meters)

- Start the hike from Namche Bazaar early in the morning, ideally around 6-7 am to avoid the afternoon clouds that tend to appear as the day progresses.
- Follow the trail that leads to Syangboche: The trail passes through small Sherpa villages, offering glimpses of local culture and traditions, and also passes through a rhododendron forest. The trail also offers great views of the surrounding mountains, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, and Mt. Ama Dablam.
- Continue the hike to Everest View Hotel: the trail becomes steeper and more challenging, and you will have to ascend several hundred meters to reach the hotel. The hotel is located at an altitude of 3,880 meters and offers panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest.
- Arrive at the hotel, rest, and enjoy the views.
